Stu Klitsner (Ben’s father) has enjoyed a colorful local career in “The Streets of San Francisco,” “The Towering Inferno,” “Lisa Bright and Dark” and Will Smith’s “The Pursuit of Happyness.” Stu says the role of Ben’s father, who has dementia, prepared him for his recent role as the irascible Norman Thayer Jr. in “On Golden Pond."
Connie Mattson (Mother) confesses her first love (besides traveling!) is theatre, but the creativity and congeniality on the "Tenderloin" set definitely renewed her quest for more independent film gigs.
